ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Penne Rigate is also known as Penne pipe ridge or diagonal pipe ridge, which has a cylindrical shape and a striped surface along the tube, and the 2 ends are cut diagonally to look very special. Penne Rigate has converged all the quintessence of a perfect pasta because of its fancy shape, chewy and fragrant taste, and attractive golden color. According to research, “Penne” originated in the Campania and Liguria regions meaning feather or “fountain pen” in Italian, which was designed to resemble the tip of a fountain pen. The “Rigate” part refers to the grooves on its surface, which help retain the thick sauce or creamy layer on top when enjoyed.

Penne Rigate is made from 100% premium durum wheat Semolina, carefully selected from the best crops in Europe, giving the pasta a firm texture and the ability to keep its shape after cooking. Penne is not only suitable for preparing hot dishes such as oven or cooking with sauces, but they are also present in most salad bowls, or simply by dribbling olive oil and pepper on them and enjoying.

 

Usage Instructions

  • Step 1: Boil water, and add a little salt (recommended ratio: 1 liter of water per 100 g of pasta) to ensure even cooking.
  • Step 2: Add the pasta and boil for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to achieve the desired al dente texture. If you prefer softer pasta, boil for 11 minutes.
  • Step 3: Drain the pasta, add your favorite vegetables, and especially use Panzani’s sauces for a more flavorful dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack of Penne Panzani 400 g (serves 4-5)
  • 1 jar of 4 Fromages Sauce Panzani 400 g
  • ½ onion
  • A little Parmesan cheese
  • Basil leaves
  • Seasonings: Salt, sugar, pepper, cooking oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

  • Shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Wash basil leaves, dice onion

Step 2: Start cooking

  • Boil the pasta according to Panzani’s instructions.
  • In a hot pan, add the onion and stir-fry until fragrant, add 1/2 jar of 4 Fromages sauce to the pan.
  • Add the pasta to the mixture and stir well.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan
  • Taste again

Step 3: Finish and enjoy

  • ½ pack of Penne Panzani (serve 2-3)
  • 100 grams of minced meat
  • 1 bottle of Napoletana Panzani
  • 1 egg
  • ½ onion
  • 2 sprigs of parsley
  • 2 tbsp of bread crumbs
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper, cooking oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients 

  • Dice the onion, chop the parsley (reserve a little)
  • Marinate the meat with the onion, parsley, breadcrumbs, 1/4 tbsp salt, 1/4 tbsp pepper, and egg. Use a spoon to mix the ingredients well and then marinate for 15 minutes to absorb the seasonings.
  • Roll the meat into ball.

Step 2: Start cooking 

  • Place the pan on the stove, turn on medium heat, add 2 tbsp of cooking oil, wait for the oil to heat up, then gently add each meatball, turn the heat low down and fry until both sides are golden brown. Remove and drain the oil.
  • Clean the pan, then continue adding cooking oil to the hot pan, wait for the oil to heat up, then add 100 gr of Napoletana sauce and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
  • Then add the pasta and mix well with the sauce
  • Next, add the meatballs, stir well, add a little parsley and turn off the heat.

Step 3: Finish and enjoy

When finished, the pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce has a beautiful color. The pasta is chewy, soaked in rich tomato sauce, the meatballs are crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside.
